Xeomin® is a purified form of botulinum toxin that can help reduce the appearance of frown lines in one easy treatment. At Suite Six Medical Aesthetics, we offer Xeomin® and other injectable treatments to men and women living in Newburyport, Haverhill and Boston, MA, as well as those in Hampton, Kittery, ME and Portsmouth, NH, and the surrounding areas.
What is Xeomin®?
Xeomin® is an injectable treatment composed of botulinum toxin, which can be used to address frown lines between the eyebrows. Unlike Botox® and other neuromodulators, the Xeomin® formula contains only a purified form of botulinum toxin, with no additional additives. This does not significantly change the results from treatment, but it may prevent patients from building up a tolerance to the formula. Like other neuromodulators, when Xeomin® is injected into the forehead area, it relaxes facial muscles to prevent contraction and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
How Much Does Xeomin® Cost in Boston & Newburyport, MA?
The cost of your Xeomin® treatment at Suite Six Medical Aesthetics can vary depending on the extent of treatment necessary to deliver your desired results. During your initial consultation, we will assess your treatment goals in order to develop an individualized treatment plan. Once we determine the treatment approach that is best for you, we will be able to provide you with the exact cost of your treatment. We accept traditional payment methods and offer financing through CareCredit® for your convenience.
How is Xeomin® Administered?
Before a Xeomin® treatment, we use a topical anesthetic to numb the treatment area and minimize any discomfort that may occur during the injection process. Then, a number of Xeomin® injections will be made into the area between the eyebrows. The Xeomin® treatment takes less than 30 minutes to perform, which makes it an ideal treatment for patients with a busy lifestyle or anyone looking for a “lunch break” cosmetic treatment.
Is There Downtime After Xeomin®?
Although patients may experience minor bruising, redness or sensitivity in the injection site, there is no downtime required after a Xeomin® treatment. These effects typically fade within a few days, and do not prevent patients from resuming work and other activities immediately after their appointment.
How Long Do the Results from Xeomin® Last?
The results from Xeomin® will be visible within a week of treatment, once the formula takes effect in the treated areas. After this point, the results from Xeomin® will last up to six months. Many patients choose to have regular Xeomin® treatments to maintain their results year-round.
