Microneedling is an incredibly effective rejuvenation technique that utilizes the body’s self-healing abilities to enhance the skin. At Suite Six Medical Aesthetics, we offer this treatment to men and women living in Newburyport, Haverhill and Boston, MA, as well as those in Hampton, Kittery, ME and Portsmouth, NH, and the surrounding areas.
What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is a rejuvenation treatment that makes tiny punctures into the skin using small needles. These small injuries trigger a healing response in the body, which produces collagen to repair and strengthen the skin. As a result, patients can achieve a significant reduction in wrinkles and acne scarring while enhancing skin texture. At Suite Six Medical Aesthetics, we offer a number of microneedling techniques, including ProCell, Collagen P.I.N., and AquaGold Booster treatments.
How Much Does Microneedling Cost in Boston & Newburyport, MA?
The cost of your microneedling at Suite Six Medical Aesthetics can vary depending on the extent of treatment necessary to deliver your desired results. During your initial consultation, we will assess your treatment goals in order to develop an individualized treatment plan. Once we determine the treatment approach that is best for you, we will be able to provide you with the exact cost of your treatment. We accept traditional payment methods and offer financing through CareCredit® for your convenience.
What is ProCell Microneedling?
ProCell microneedling is a unique treatment that combines microneedling with the healing powers of stem cells. The microneedling treatment is performed normally, but each puncture simultaneously injects stem cells into the skin. In addition to promoting collagen production, this treatment provides the skin with stem cells to further enhance the healing and growth of the skin. For ProCell treatments, we typically recommend treatment sessions every three to four months for optimal results.
What is the Collagen P.I.N.?
The Collagen P.I.N. treatment combines microneedling with the healing benefits of PRP injections. With each puncture made in the skin, PRP is injected beneath the skin’s surface. In addition to increasing collagen production, this treatment provides the body with growth factors that help to further enhance the healing and strengthening process that occurs. For Collagen P.I.N. treatments, we typically recommend a series of three to six treatments that are spaced about four weeks apart.
What Are AquaGold Booster Treatments?
The AquaGold microneedling device can be combined with nearly any injectable treatment, including PRP injections, Botox®, Juvéderm®, and many other Dermal fillers and injectables. This treatment provides all of the benefits of microneedling with the added benefits of injectables and other boosters. During the microneedling treatment, the desired booster is simultaneously injected into the skin, enhancing results beyond traditional microneedling benefits. Many patients choose to use dermal fillers to enhance skin volume and maximize their results. We also offer a Vitamin C serum and other boosters to help patients achieve their skin care goals.
What Kind of Results Can I Expect from Microneedling?
Many patients will notice improvements in the skin after a single microneedling treatment, although we recommend a series of treatments for optimal results. The results may not be visible instantly, because it can take several days for the skin to heal and for collagen to take effect in the skin. Most patients begin to notice results within a few weeks, with optimal results occurring about a month or two after treatment.
Is There Downtime After Microneedling?
The microneedling treatment often causes minor redness or swelling in the treatment area. However, these effects typically fade within a few days, and do not prevent patients from returning to work or other normal activities. Other than these minor side effects, there is no downtime following a microneedling treatment.
